Meet Your Provider!
Shelly Tellman is a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) practicing in Arizona since 2012, with a focus on primary and preventative care. As a dedicated primary care provider, she emphasizes a holistic wellness program tailored to the diverse needs of her patients.
Shelly's nursing career began in 2004 at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, one of the largest and most respected hospitals in Arizona, where she worked as an emergency and trauma room registered nurse (RN). There, she gained invaluable experience in providing high-quality care to patients facing life-threatening conditions and injuries.
While at St. Joseph’s, Shelly pursued further education, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) in 2007 and a Master of Science in nursing (MSN) as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) in 2012, both from Grand Canyon University. As a board-certified FNP, she is trained to treat the whole family, from adolescents to the elderly, offering primary and specialty care services. Shelly emphasizes the importance of education on wellness and preventive care as part of her practice.
Shelly has established Grand West Family Practice and Wellness, a primary care facility that provides comprehensive medical care to the diverse populations in Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Sun City, Sun City West, Sun City Grand, El Mirage, Goodyear, Buckeye, and Avondale in Arizona. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, offering compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based care. Additionally, she is committed to lifelong learning and regularly attends conferences and workshops to stay updated on the latest trends, including medical weight loss, in healthcare.
